Medical Supplies
Sterile gauze pads (3" x 3" and 2" X 2") and gauze bandage rolls (1" and 2"): For wrapping wounds or muzzling the injured animal
Flour/Baking Powder or corn starch: used for stopping toe nail bleeding if torn or cut too short
Small Oral syringe: used to administer medication
Cotton,Clean towels: used for cleaning
Rectal thermometer: used with lubricant such as mineral oil rectally if fever is suspected
Nutri-Cal, Vitacal, or Nutristat: used as a Nutritional supplement
Medications
1. Benadryl Liquid 25 mgll ml (tsp) Tablet/capsule 25 mg
Used for allergic reactions and mild sedation.
Dose: 1mg per pound of body weight (e.g. 25 lbs dog would get one tablet or teaspoon). Can be given every 8 horns.
2. Bayer Children's Aspirin (81 mg)
Used for mild pain or fever.
Dose: Give I tablet per 40 lbs body weight every 12 hours.
3. Hydrogen Peroxide 3%
Used to induce vomiting.

4. Imodium AD
Used for diarrhea
Dose: 1 tablet per 30 pounds of body weight
5. Pepto-Bismol
Used for vomiting and diarrhea
Dose: I teaspoon per 5 pounds of body weight. NOT FOR CATS!
6. Cortisone cream
Used topically for rashes, bug bites, abrasions or cuts
7. Honey or Karo Syrup
Used in small pets for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).

8. Eye wash or Saline Solution
Used to flush eyes in case of foreign body or irritant in eye.
Please Note: Always check with your vet before giving any kind of medication to your pet. Also, Make sure to check the expiration dates on medications every 6 months.
