Learn How to Shrink Hemorrhoids

WHAT ARE HEMORRHOIDS?!?

Hemorrhoids is a medical term used to describe the swelling and painful inflammation of veins in the rectum and anus of the human body. They are commonly misspelled as "hemroids". This article will go over some of the methods to identify and treat them.

What Causes Them?
Hemorrhoids can be caused straining during bowel movements, by excessive bouts of diarrhea, and sitting for prolonged periods of time.

Note that diarrhea can be caused by excessive consumption of alcohol or caffeine, among other offenders.

Therefore, a simple way to help treat treat or prevent hemorrhoids is to avoid intake of caffeinated or alcoholic beverages.

Any excess of food that hardens the stool, or insufficient intake of liquids can also be a cause of hemorrhoids.
Continuing to eat the foods that cause hemorrhoids can make it difficult to shrink or cure them.

The symptoms of hemorrhoids can sometimes be alarming. Symptoms of hemorrhoids can range from mild itching of the rectum to bloody stools and painful rashes.

Internal vs. External
The specific symptoms of hemorrhoids depend on whether or it not is a case of internal or external hemorrhoids:

External hemorrhoids occur outside of the anus. They are often sources of uncomfortable irritation due to swelling.
Internal hemorrhoids often go undetected because there are no pain receptors where they spring up, on the inside of the anus. However, an internal hemorrhoid can still be irritated and cause blood to show up in the stool for no apparent reason.

Often, attempts to clean or treat the symptoms of hemorrhoids can result in intensifying the symptoms. Rubbing, cleaning, or scraping of the anus can result in more itchiness, which may turn into an unfortunate cycle.

Methods to cure hemorrhoids, shrink hemorrhoids, heal hemorrhoids and prevent them entirely:

1. Eat right! Make sure your diet includes lots of liquids. Avoid excessive intake of cheese, and other high-density foods. Excessive lactic acid is also a culprit. Eat more fiber. Fruits are great!
2. Avoid caffeine and alcoholic products, as they can lead to harder stools, which causes more forcing, which makes a hemorrhoid likely to form.

Oh NO! I have hemorrhoids, so these instructions are too late for me! What Now?!
