10 Benefits of Parsley - Amazing Medicinal Qualities of This Tasty Herb - Parsley Benefits

Parsley is by far one of my favorite spices in the kitchen. You can use it to add some great flavor to a large variety of meals. What I most enjoy is knowing the health benefits that come with adding something that enhances the flavor of anything I'm preparing. Parsley is also incredibly easy to grow in your backyard garden. It loves cooler weather, but also grows well in full-sunshine. Or you can easily grow it in pots.

Here are some of the meals I can't make without adding fresh parsley:

• Veggie Sandwiches
• Salads
• Pasta
• Veggie Pizza
• Fresh Juice and Green Smoothies
• Mixed with scrambled eggs
• Stuffed Peppers
• Soups

The great tasting flavor of parsley is a huge reason I use it frequently, but with it comes many important benefits to your health.

Here's 10 health benefits of Parsley:

1) Enhances Digestion
2) Purifies the Blood
3) Very high in Iron which helps fatigue
4) Aids the Kidneys
5) Relieves Menstrual Pains
6) Aids in Weight Loss
7) Stops Diarrhea
8) Lowers Cholesterol
9) Fights and prevents cancer and boosts immunity overall
10) Cleanses the Liver

Make sure to either grow your own parsley, or buy organic parsley because sadly, there's a lot of pesticides being used and you don't want to be eating anything laced with chemicals.

Also, my most favorite way to take parsley is in powder form. Because it's easily digestible and goes straight into the blood stream. This can be done by mixing it into a smoothie or fresh juice!

Importance of the Liver

A lot of my studies have been on the liver, and just how important they are to our bodies and good health. Our livers are responsible for so much that we absolutely must become more aware of how to keep it healthy. Our livers break down all our foods, cleanses the toxins in our bodies, processes all of our sensory input, and is our heat-furnace. It's the only organ in the body that can regenerate.

Our livers are extremely abused in our society, and Parsley can play an important role in helping to heal our livers.
